Is there a button to tell Fisheye Server to update a git repository NOW

Edward_Russell December 7, 2017

Is there a button I can click to tell Fisheye Server to update one of my Git repositories NOW.

I have it scheduled to update periodically.

I know about git hooks to trigger updates, I just haven't implemented them yet.

I just want a simple button to update tell fisheye to fetch from git and update a repository now.

I am running Fisheye Server (not cloud)

Hi @Edward_Russell,

As mentioned at Re-indexing your repository you can perform a manual re-index of your repository by following these steps:

  1. Log in with a Fisheye administrator
  2. Reach the administration panel
  3. Click the name of the repository
  4. Go to Maintenance tab
  5. Run the "Incremental Index"

Please note that these requests are enqueued and they might not be executed immediately. It depends on how many repositories you have vs. number of incremental indexing threads available.

I hope this helps!
