Anyone using a form data connection? Looking for options.

Like the subject says, does anyone use the form data connection? What are you connecting to and what data are you querying for? 

We have Jira custom fields for departments and divisions that we use in various forms, and ideally, it would be better to use the data connection to use the source of truth, like our IdP provider. Jira fields are not the best for large lists of data like this.

My other thought was to connect to the API for a Google sheet. This would allow non-Jira admins the ability to update the sheet.

We are using them currently with Bitbucket and Bamboo, as a way for developers when submitting problem issues to better provide exactly what project or repository they are having an issue with. Prior, we would receive from them a problem, and always have to reach out as to what project or repository the issue was with.

I would like to grow this to other forms, like you mentioned about items that might constantly change. The data connection is then a way to keep it up to date automatically.
