Time Tracking Submission to JIRA from Crucible: Wrong user

Wolfgang Röckelein July 9, 2012

We have enabled the option "Allow Time Tracking submission from reviews" in Crucible (2.7.11) in the JIRA Settings of the Application Link to JIRA (5.0).

Both JIRA and Crucible use the same LDAP user repo.

Unfortunatly such a time tracking submission in JIRA has not the user conducting the review but a general user and has the user only mentioned in the text. This gives us problems on user time tracking reports in JIRA.

Hi Wolfgang.

Can you please let me know what Appliation Auth are you using? Trusted Apps, oauth or Basic.

You should be using Trusted Apps or Oauth so the Time Tracking get logged by the right user. If you are using Basic it will be logged by the user configured on the configuration of the App Link.

Please let me know.

Cheers,
