Smart commits randomly sets a review to incomplete.

Daan December 10, 2012

when using smart commits to update a review where a reviewer has completed a review often sets the review to incomplete. As one would expect if files have changed that the reviewer reviewed.

However, sometimes, with no particular reason, the smart commit has worked, but the review will stay completed. Where I normally receive an e-mail that said reviewer has 'started work on reviewing again' but in these cases I don't.

What is the default behaviour supposed to be? And how can this be made not-random?

I have found the same - and I specifically do not want a completed review to be made incomplete by the commit. We're using pre-commit reviews, therefore we don't need/want any further review activity on commit.
