I tried using Generate key pair for SSH authentication for a Mercurial repository. I've uploaded the key to the bitbucket repository, but when I get the following error:

abort: no suitable response from remote hg

Using Password for http(s) seems to work fine. What is the issue with Generate key pair for SSH authentication?

I've uploaded the key to the bitbucket repository,

What do you mean by this?

Be sure to add the SSH Key to your Bitbucket Account.

Manage Account --> SSH Keys

That's what I meant. I should have said I copied the key to the repository server.
