How do I switch my Fisheye from SVN to GIT?

Anton Polski August 21, 2012

I am trying to set up my Fisheye to work with GIT but it seems like SVN is default. What do I do?

Hi Anton,

FishEye does support GIT and others VCS's like Mercurial and Perforce as you can see at our Supported Platforms session. Could you describe the steps you're using to add your repository? I'm asking that because at FishEye Administration -> Repositories, when you're adding a repo the system asks you what kind of repository it is and then you can choose if it's P4, mercurial, git, svn...

Cheers,

Leonardo.

How do I get to the menu that you are describing? I am so lost with the administration options of your product. I am about to give up.

Hi Anton,

We have a complete documentation about all configurations and features inside our Knowledge Base home please take some time to look at it. More specifically about Adding an External Repository please take a look at this article. And remeber to access FishEye Administration you just have to access http://your-fisheye-address:8060/admin

I hope this could help you.

Cheers,

Leonardo.
