Fisheye to Perforce performance issue

Soo Min Ooi January 14, 2014

We are facing huge number of perforce calls by Fisheye with most of them "Login" calls, this has great impact on perforce performance, any idea why login call runs so frequently?

Please configure a Commit Hook inside your perforce repository and increase the incremental poll period from 1 minute to 4 hours, say.

Instructions are here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/FISHEYE/Configuring+commit+hooks

Possibly because you have a lot of p4 repos configured and fisheye and it polls each of them every minute (the default poll period).

The log show login calls close to 100 a minute, is that expected?

Also, I have my login to Perforce disable but I can still see update to Fisheye upon every checkin, is that normal?
