Hello,

I would like to know if we can deploy a crucible license for 100 users and fisheye license for 10 users on the crucible server we are using and control the users who need access to fisheye from the admin page?

If Yes, Which part of admin related settings would help us to do so?

If No, Do we need to buy the license for same number of users for both crucible and fisheye?

Also, Could you please let us know if we can import users from cloud based JIRA into crucible and can we control the number of users who can use fisheye and crucible based on the licenses we buy?

Thanks,

Rohit Mungi

Hi Rohit,

This is not possible, since the FishEye license must, at least, match the Crucible license. This is further described at https://www.atlassian.com/licensing/fisheye#serverlicenses-3:

If using Crucible along with FishEye (in all cases), your FishEye license must have an equal or greater number of users in order to be compatible with Crucible.

As per managing users with JIRA Cloud, this is not possible - users in JIRA Cloud instance can only be used for access to Cloud, i.e. you would be able, for instance, to use JIRA Cloud to manage Bamboo Cloud or Confluence Cloud users, but not to manage users in other tools hosted by you.
