Is there a configuration option to relocate the "var" directory to another location?
Environment: Crucible v3.0.1 on a RH 6.4 server. Using GIT with large repositories.
Crucible was installed in the /opt partition with 5 GB. The /opt/atlassian/crucible/var/cache directory has used up all remaining space (disk full).
(No space left on device) File=/opt/atlassian/crucible/var/data/data0.bin
Thank you.
Hi Lukasz,
We have FISHEYE_INST set, but it does not appear to be in use. Thank you for the link to the instructions - that provides the instructions I needed.
Thank you,
John
Hi John,
The location of the Crucible data directory is determined by setting the FISHEYE_INST environment variable.
If it's not set, Crucible will use the home directory to store data. If that's your setup currently, you can use the method described in the upgrade guide to relocate it - https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/FISHEYE/FishEye+upgrade+guide (Method 3: Without a FISHEYE_INST directory, but would like to set one up).
If you already have a FISHEYE_INST environment variable and directory set, you just need to move the directory to a filesystem with more available space, and change the FISHEYE_INST variable to point at the new location.
Best regards,
Łukasz
