Application link - unable to perform the steps because the help popup window hides the form

I am trying to link JIRA server application with Crucible. I followed the steps in Crucible documentation Global Settings -> Application Links -> Entered the application URL -> Clicked on "Create New Link" button

On doing the above a form to fill in the details appears, but is immediately replace by another popup window titled "What's new for application links". If you close the popup and try to perform the steps above again, the popup appears again. This goes on repeatedly even after trying in different computers.

I am using the 4.8 version of Crucible. Please suggest how to resolve this.

I vaguely remember having this issue.

I believe updating the java version fixed it.
