Is there a way to pause notifications to all subscribers of a board?

We are looking to do a clean up of a board and move archived items to another board where we will unarchive them. To do this we don't need every person on the team/board to receive a massive amount of notifications. Is there a way for the admin to suspend notifications for a set amount of time?

Change the notification scheme for all affected projects to one that doesn't send email on updates. Remember the original notification schemes so you can change them back afterwards. I believe that a move actions sends email based on the target project not the source project. Test it with a few moves first and test it in staging too!
