How can I configure on jira so one user can not view the information of other users

Jensen Jiang September 15, 2021

I invited different users to my jira system, some users are my customers, I created different project for each customer, and I configure each project to "private" so one customer can not see other customer's project.

But the problem is all the user can search and view other user information if they want to, this is not good because some customers are actually competitors in the market.

How can I solve this problem please.

Hi @Jensen Jiang

You have Global Permissions in Jira Administration Configuration under System Settings. Remove all the groups under that and only add the group of users who you want for users to be searched and see their profiles

Thanks,
