Excel Macro expansion to other formats

The current Excel macro works fine for .xls format files. Does it also support .xlsx and .csv formats? If not, is there another macro which does this?

You may try to browse the Marketplace and search for free or paid apps that provide such macros.

For example, our company develops the Table Filter and Charts for Confluence app which main features are filtering, aggregating and visualization of tabular data.
