I run a small software development company and have been using Bitbucket for a few years now. Some of our customer’s setup their own Bitbucket accounts and create teams which include some of their own staff and some of ours. This works well, but recently one of them wanted to use HipChat for the team communications as we are mostly working remotely.
Is it just me or does it seem crazy you can’t invite anyone who is already using HipChat unless they create a new account with a different email address. This is just not practical or maintainable when dealing with many customers. Plus, who wants to work that way?
Unfortunately, this has made HipChat unusable for us and our customers, Surly this is something that other people want too.
