I can see a lot of examples online where butler commands are written as free text when people explain how to solve a particular problem with a butler. however, I can't find how to copy and paste a free text on butler powerup, I can only use the command builder.
My main problem is that I can't seem to find how to include variables in a command using the command flingster ome tv bazoocam builder. I cant also write a free text command elsewhere and then copy and past in butler to solve the problem.
can you advise on how I can add variables when using the butler command builder?
This is what I am trying to achieve:
when a card in the list "Ready for Investigation" is moved out of the list "Ready for Investigation" by anyone except but I while using command builder I cant add a variable for the name. I can only select a predefined name at build time.
Welcome to the Community, it's great to have you here!
I can only show you the first step because that's all the information that you've included, so I'll go through that. Obviously my list names are different than yours, but it'll look the same:
If the name of the list that you wan't isn't in the dropdown list, you can just type it in. Although until that list is created the rule won't run, also you have to make sure that the list name in the rule is exactly how it appears in the list name, or it won't run.
I can't add any actions to it, because I don't know what you want the rule to do after the trigger.
If you comment on this and let us know what you'd like it to 'do' after this, then we can get the rest of it on a screenshot for you!
I hope that this is helpful!
