When i install jdk for Crowd,I can't connect to JIRA

hayeonhu September 16, 2019

I installed a Jira server in a virtual machine.

and I could access JIRA webbrowser from my host PC.

I install java to use Crowd in a virtual machine installed JIRA server.

then i run the reboot, i can't access to JIRA Webbrowser on the host PC.

and I can't even access to the webbrowser on the guest PC.

why can't i access the JIRA? There's no problem with the network.

@hayeonhu  Couple of things you look for are,

  1. Is Jira running on guest machine
    1. Try to verify this using port number used by Jira
  2. Is Jira producing any error logs,
    1. Check <JIRA_INSTALLATION>/logs directory
