Moving Nested Groups to new Crowd Server

We are migrating from one Crowd Server that has nested groups to a new Crowd server.  Is there a way to export and then import the nested groups?

Please try the CSV export from the old Crowd instance and import into the new one. Here is the export doc: How Do I Generate a CSV Export of Users, and Memberships From a Specific Directory in Crowd? Here are the import instructions: Importing Users from CSV Files

Ann,

I did use this feature but the nested information did not transpose to the new server.  I have read information that this has been an issue since the crowd directory is flattened in the database.

Do you have a solution for this meanwhile?

the same problem here.....

.... one resolution could be to get rid of nested groups and flatten them ..... many times abused deep group hierarchies are hard to read for humans and adds overhead for applications as well. (million times retrieval of nested group information have performance impact on system for sure)
