Is there any known issues (common practice) with upgrading Crowd from 2.3.3 to 2.7 ?

Tamara Tchavtchavadze October 9, 2013

Hello,

We are using Crowd for sso in a company with big data and thinking to upgrade Crowd to the latest version, to improve perfomance for other applications. If you have done so already, could you please give some pointers, what/if issues you've faced during the proccess?

Hi Tamara,

Upgrading Crowd from 2.3.3 to 2.7 should be smoothly, but I'd suggest that you take a look at the following pages:

  • https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/CROWD/Crowd+2.7+Upgrade+Notes

Thank you Tiago!

Release Notes and Upgrade Notes were very helpful. Although we had some issues with x64 platform and tomcat, as well as new jdk issue. At the end we resolved all problems and successfully upgraded Crowd to version 2.7 : )!

p.s. Also there are two known bugs:

Kind regards,

Tamara
