Importing users from JIRA does not get all the users

Kurt Frank November 3, 2011

After going through the Users>Import Users steps only 2 out of 39 users are imported into Crowd.

I have JIRA configured to use MS SQL 2005 database and looking there I can see where if I run

SELECT * FROM jiradb . dbo . cwd_user

I get the two users that were imported into Crowd.

But there also is a whole other schema that is also in my JIRA database that seems to have a duplicate table list. If I run

SELECT * FROM jiradb . jiraschema . cwd_user

I get the entire list of 39 users that I want to import into Crowd. These users show up in my JIRA user administration.

Is there a way to get the import to get those 39 users in the jiraschema ?

I think I may have screwed up the JIRA database by upgrading a little while back that got me with these two schemas.

Should I just delete the dbo schema tables?

Yeah sounds like your entity_engine.xml file (?) had an incorrect schema in it when you did an update on an earlier version. If I was you I'd export to xml and recreate the entire JIRA database with a new setup/import xml.
