Check the crowd.properties file and make sure everything is correct

And check the logs, you might see an IP that isn't allowed to authenticate with your Crowd application. If so, simply add the IP to the remote addresses tab in the Crowd application.

Hi Tom,

Are you trying to used a self-signed certificate, or one issued by a Certificate Authority (CA)?

Are there any errors logged in Crowd logs about this? Make sure you have updated the crowd.properties file with the crowd.server.url pointing to the https:// url.

Also of note, Crowd 3.0 is now available, and it slightly simplifies the process - it reduces some internal complexity, and eliminates the need for crowd.properties entirely. You might want to give that version a go.
