using host name not able to open confluence page

Hi,

we are using both Jira and confluence in our enterprise.

on Jira site we use confluence link as Application link. since we cant use https://.. as application link we user host name with port number. it is working for us but for few users iys not working. but the same user able to open the site using alais name. please help me to find the root cause of this issue.

Hi Rinku,

During the setup of your application link, you can point it to host name with port number, but you have to set display url to be exactly the same as in your base-url's. Can you confirm if it's set this way?
