upgrade to 7.2.2 LOCK on database?

Michiel Bakker February 27, 2020

We are upgrading to Confluence DataCenter 7.2.2 (from version 6.15.6). We started one of the servers (with the new 8401 buildnumber in the cgf.xml). Fine till then.

Then we started accidentally the second server with the buildnumber from version 6.15.6 (instead of the 7.2.2. service) and we got problems because the builnumber did't match the one in the dbo.CONFVERSION.

We then did a rollback of the 7.2.2 service to the "old" 6.15.6 version. Then started the other server service 6.15.6 also and everything was back to normal.

Now we want to do a new try and upgrade. But the table dbo.CONVERSION looks like this

Confversion.PNG

Does the versiontag "lock_for_upgrade_to_8401" have to be removed (or adjusted with "null") to be able to do the upgrade properly?

Because when i start the new 7.2.2. services on both servers nothing is happening in this CONFVERSION table.

Hope you can help me!.

Kind regards.
