unlinking Confluence spaces to JIRA

hi all, Confluence 5.10 and JIRA Software 7.3 server users.

When a space is created using the related JIRA project( software project category space). If for some reason that project in JIRA is depricated and i want to use a different project for this space( that i already created and linked), how can i do this ?
