typing a macro name in text in Confluence but I don't want it flagged as a macro

Paul McGeoghan May 2, 2012

Hi,

In Confluence, I want to simply type in text as follows:

'We are now using system variables, for example, the system variable ${InstallDir} refers to c:\ZCM_tmp'

However, when I click Save, Confluence says Unknown Macro: {InstallDir}

How do I simply type the text ${InstallDir} without Confluence thinking it is a macro?

Thanks

Hi Paul,

try this:

{noformat:nopanel=true}
${installdir}
{noformat}

Best regards

Thomas
