the "AND" parameter and label searching

Having problems getting results using labelText:label1 AND labelText:label2, specifically no results are returned, though there is much content tagged with label1 and label2. It seems as though results are only found when one label is searched, but not when I am trying to find content tagged with two labels. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Which version of Confluence are you using?

We're on 4.2.1 and I can confirm I get the same behaviour you've described.
