Hello Dana, in order to enable the community to provide insight on the reported behavior, please detail the issue with screenshots, also mention whether there is any interface sign for errors. Also, if you have access to the application logs within <confluence-home>/logs/.
If this ultimately cannot be tracked down here, it may be worth checking with Atlassian Support.
