$soy error after updating confluence

Richard Jones June 4, 2015

Hi All

We were using version 4.x of confluence and yesterday upgraded to 5.5.7 (we want the latest but some plugins dont seem supported - oddly the table of contents one?!)

After the upgrade the top bar seems to be missing and an error message is there.

The message say

$soyTemplateRendererHelper.getRenderedTemplateHtml("com.atlassian.auiplugin:aui-experimental-soy-templates", $templateParameters

How can I fix this? At the moment we now have no bar at the top (for admin access etc)

Thanks

I had to enable the plugin.

A)
How to see system modules:
Confluence -> admin -> manage add-ons -> choose system on drop down

B) To enable: (content token is within the page source)
Open a page on admin, do a view source, find the following:
<meta id="atlassian-token" name="atlassian-token" content="ffbb3e2ba688ce4fa6aa5cf2de9ad6482203555">

C) put the token and the module to be enabled on the URL below:
