recently updated macro, restricted to a page and it's descendants

Hi all,

How can we get somewhat like "recently updated" macro, but restricted to a page and descendants?

"recently updated" allows only filtering by user, label ...

A possible workaround may be label the page and force that all content under the page gets labelled ... ?
