Try switching to the "JIRA Issue/Filter" macro instead.

I tried that, but that macro does not let me insert anything when using the "search" functionality. The "search" itself works fine, but the "insert" button is disabled.

Platform: Ubuntu 16.04LTS
Browser: Chrome Version 64.0.3282.140 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Confluence CLOUD (not the server version)
