With classic Jira projects it was always possible to create an epic in Confluence and then create Jira issues from the same document linking them automatically to the Epic:
But it is impossible if working with a next-gen Jira project. I still can create Jira issues from my confluence document, but the "link to epic" option is missing.
Any solution here?

Thank you for raising this with us. This is a known issue, and we've logged it below:
There is no known workaround at this time, but please subscribe to the bug to be informed of one in the future, should things change.
