Hello everyone,

we are working in a question catalog with the "Filter by labe" macro.
This works really well!

But not specifically for (just) one user.

The user does not see all pages, only pages in 2 of 6 "filter by label" macros of question catalog page. However, the pages are not restricted and can be viewed publicly by every user in the Confluence area.

If you open an "In-Private Window" in the browser (MS Edge) of the affected user and log in to the PC/browser of the affected user with another user, all content is displayed perfectly.

So it seems to be a user-specific problem.

Does anyone have experience with this?
Can I solve it myself?
Or do I have to file a ticket with Atlassian Support?

Please give me your advice, thanks!

Hi @Sebastian Spitzer

If you try to connect to confluence with this user on a different PC did you observe the same misbehavior ?

It could be a cache issue on the Browser, or an indexing issue.

Are those missing pages stored in the same space ? (potentially some remaining rights)

Hello Cyrille,

As already described, in the same browser with a different user the content is displayed completely as expected.

I therefore rule out a cache problem.

I can try to see if the user can see the content if they log into my browser with a private window.

The pages are all in the same area (our knowledge base).

I was thinking of a user-specific problem on the Atlassian server.

Feedback on the attempt above follows...

Thank you.

Nonetheless, did you try to clear the cache ?

Indeed it seems to be an issue related to this specific, you should probably raise as support ticket.

Regarding the announced test:
The user has the same problem when he logs into my browser with a private window on the site.

Browser cache was also cleared x times. Even completely including all cookies etc.

I wrote that I don't suspect a cache problem. It must have something to do with the user.

I will now open a ticket with Atlassian Support.
