problems loading comment editor in low bandwidth situations?

We seem to have identified a problem in low bandwidth scenarios... (browsing from Kenya and Ghana) that users can easily load pages, but it hangs when they click to add a comment. Atlassian seem to be out of ideas, wondering if others are facing similar issues. We are hosting our confluence in london and accessing it at remote locations... thanks...

Hi Mark,

I had a hell-of-a-time getting to the bottom of this one in a support case. Please refer to this bug in our issue tracker which has a few attached, patched jars for increasing the editor/comment editor timeout for those instances where there are slow load times.
