page properties report macro showing "extension"

a user created a page with page properties report macro. One of the columns contains a property, which is a task report macro. The issue is some users can view it, while it is displayed as "extension" for others. What could be the reason for it? The creator of the page claimed it was working a week ago, but it is now showing "extension".
