Hi,

I want to migrate my existing confluence to another server.

The current database is embedded h2 databse.

I have two question.

1. Do I need new license to install?

2. the way of migration.

You don't do this on Cloud.

I am going to guess you got the question about Cloud and Server wrong, and you mean Server.

You only need a new licence if

  • The new server is a new server and you are going to carry on using the old one.  If the new one is a replacement for an old production system, you don't need a new licence.
  • Your old licence does not cover the version of the Confluence you are going to.  (You can use any version released before the expiry of your licence)

To migrate, you'll need to export and import.  See https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/migrating-to-another-database-148867.html
