Hi all,

type @ followed by part of the user's name, for example @josh - autocorrect will search for the user 

Josh will be notified in his workbox and by email.

Work´s perfect but if there are page restrictions the user doesn´t receive notifications - no mail - no workbox info.

Why?

Also the task creator receive any information about that ! Therefore no one knows that there is a problem with the permissions.

Hi Bhushan,

that is clear and understandable, but an information to the task creator or the referred person would be an advantage. So the information is lost and the task remains unprocessed.

It not possible for everyone, every time to check the page permissions ....

In my opinion a mail with the information "you have a task but no authority for the site" can not be wrong

Hi Michael/Alexander,

This is expected behavior in Confluence. When page content is restricted and email notifications are sent out, you wouldn't want restricted content to be viewed by a person without permissions.
