Too sad to hear about your database :-(
Are you sure you have no database backups at all? How do you backup your database server? Are you dumping the databases to file? Are you copying the db-dumps away from the db-server?
If not, I am afraid you are in some trouble. If the only copies of your backups reside on the broken server you need to do whatever is possible to recover the data from the database server.
Confluence is dependent on the database and home directory backup when you are to restore Confluence. Without the db-backup it is not possible.

There is a default XML-backup enabled when you install Confluence. Is this still enabled? Or have you disabled it?
If it is enabled you may have XML-backups stored on your application server.
