login form question

Dear partners, 

Would it be possible to customize login form , such as add hint content for user account and password? How can we do it ? Thank you.

Hi Hsu,

             You need to modify velocity files which are located in Installation Directory as shown below

Path : <Installation Directory> \confluence\login.vm

ex: C:\Program Files\Atlassian\ConfluenceProd\confluence\login.vm

edit-velocity-templates.PNG

Please test this on Sandbox first.

• Take a backup of file you are going to edit.
• Turn off JIRA Service.

• Edit with notepad++ and add you hints and then save the file
• Start JIRA Service and see if changes get reflected.
