is there a way to write logic to derive a status color with the status macro vs. just selecting one?

when using the status macro to show colors, is there a way to use JQL or some logic to automatically derive a status color vs. hand-jamming it?

Hi @Sandra Lawrence,

I'm sorry to deliver the bad news but actually... no there isn't. 😔

But there's a new macro on the marketplace which actually makes it possible to click on the status and change it, even from the preview mode.

The App is called Aura and the macro that makes it possible is the Aura Status macro.

Here's a link with much more details: https://appanvil.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/AC/pages/2633039891/Aura+Status+Cloud

Kind regards,

Svenja

Hi @Sandra Lawrence

You can easily create your own status sets and predefine their colors with the help of Handy Macros for Confluence.

After that, you can update statuses without continuous transitions to the page edit mode.
