Is there an add-on or a feature within Confluence that allow your to sync or update documents like Word, PPT to a Confluence page or document saved to Confluence?

Unfortunately not.

If you're hosting your own instance, it might be possible to create an external process that automatically updated a Confluence attachment when a file is changed, but you'd need to hire a consultant/developer to do that for you.
