In OnDemand you are unable to write out javascript to the page. This is only available with the self-hosted version.

There isn't a way to write one for OnDemand. Atlassian only allows certain add ons to be installed in an OnDemand environment. Even if you wrote one they would not let you load it into your setup. You need to host it yourself if you want that functionality.
