http page links stopped working after upgrading to Confluence 7.3.2

simon.r.martin April 6, 2020

Our original Confluence was setup as http.

Later we configured the site for https and put in a redirect for any http requests.

We had many links in our page that still used http and they continued to work.

After upgrading to Confluence 7.3.2 the http links in our pages stopped working.

Is there a way to fix the redirect to handle http links or does 7.3.2 requires all page links be repaired.

Hi Simon

welcome to the Atlassian community.

What kind of error / message due you get when clicking the http links (hwat does the log file of your loadbalancer/proxy tell you)

There is a KB article out there that describes how you could fix your links permanently

https://confluence.atlassian.com/confkb/how-to-replace-all-hard-coded-links-after-a-base-url-change-284366235.html

Cheers

Kurt
