how to keep track of the visits/hits on every page, and record the comments of the visitors in confluence?

This is to find out which data is more useful, and which needs to be corrected/eliminated, in due course.

There would be pages with data, which become useless after a certain period, and would have to be eliminated etc.

you can keep track of the hits with the tracking pluging from customware: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/269

Or maybe use the rate makro to let the user decide, if a page is useful: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/181
