how to display data from other pages

Greg Holde March 17, 2014

Hello -

I have been asked to create a dashboard to show some details from our individual confluence project wiki pages. I would like to display specific details from the individual project pages on the dashboard page. For example, the names of the team members, start date, etc. This information is currently included in a table on the individual project pages.

I have done some research but am not able to find specific examples related to this question.

Can you provide an example or point me to some resource that will help me with my assignment?

Thank you,

Greg

Hi Grey,

You can make use of the Excerpt and Excerpt Include macro to display the content of a page in another location. The trick is to enclose the content you wish to display in Excerpt macro and use the d Excerpt Include macro in the location you wish to display.

Here the official documentation for the macro

https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Excerpt+Macro

https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Excerpt+Include+Macro

Hope this helps!
