I want to disable the site welcome message in confluence. Deactivating the "welcome-message" of the dashboard macro does not work.
Thank you very much.
If you would like to disable the Welcome message, you could achieve that by navigating to Confluence Admin >> Layouts. Click create custom on Global layout. From there you look for the following line, remove it. and save it.
<div class="dashboard-item welcome-message"> $action.welcomeMessage </div>
Hope this information helps. Cheers.
You can go at Browse > Confluence Admin > Configuration > General Configuration and then "edit" the site welcome message. You can just write something as "h2. Your_Company_name" and then save. If you try to remove the whole message this will not work, but with this workaround you can edit and change the message that appears.
