Hi,
I am new to confluence, working on getting the information to put together in our project created own space. I am able to create pages. Can someone guide me how do I create a different folder under page tree because the pages created have to go under different folders.
Also please share if there is any useful guidance document to refer throughout to complete my work.
Appreciate your assistance!
Thanks
Dhivya
Hi @Dhivya Rathinasamy Gunasekaran ,
there's nothing like a folder in Confluence. Just pages.
A page can be something like a folder if its purpose is to have child pages.
A folder page should at least contain the "children" macro, so it is showing all the pages underneath and not just an empty page.
Thanks for your reply. I checked "how do I add macro" section I don't see children macro instead I see following others
Hide children page
child tab display
etc..
Would you be able to share any user guide on how to add parent page and children pages. Thank you!

The folders we create are visible on Confluence page but not on the Jira page. Anyone facing this issue and able to resolve this defect ?
Else there is no point of confluence-Jira integration in this case if folders we create are only visible on Confluence site and not on Jira.

There is now a Folders feature in Beta. https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/use-folders-to-organize-your-work/
