how do I turn off notifications from this list

I get hundreds of emails per day from this forum.  How can I turn them off?  It is flooding my mail box with information I do not need or want.  Please help.

Look at the top, click "topics" and it will list all the labels.  The ones you have subscribed to are making up the bulk of your emails, so deselect as many as you want (all of them for near silence)

You will remain subscribed to your own questions and any others you clicked "watch" on, but when those arrive, follow then through to the question and click "unwatch" (although most questions only gather 2-5 responses, so these shouldn't be too much)
