I've got a similar issue: If I copy a page with a DiagramLy object on the page, then delete the orginal page, the DiagramLy object on the copied page can not be edited anymore. If I restore the original page from the trash, the editing works again.

We have installed confluence 5.4 and DiagramLy 2.9.1.

Is this designed behaviour or is it a bug?

This is fixed in the latest version, see [DFC-6], you just need to upgrade.

I found how to bypass the problem :

1- create "source page" + diagram source wiht just 1 object

2- create "destination page" + diagram source wiht no object

3- edit diagram on "source page" , go to menu Options / Advanced / modifier

4 select all the text and copy / exit

5- edit diagram on "destination page", go to Options / advanced / modifier

6 - paste le text and save with replace option.

--> the 2 diagram are identical and independent

I can't connect to your JIRA because i'm not OnDemand user.

My versions are : Confluence 5.3.1 / Draw.io 3.1.1

I've just make en new test :

1- create "source page" + diagram source wiht just 1 object

2- copy "source page" to "destination page"

3- edit diagram on "destination page" / save

--> the diagram on "source page" have been modified too.

There was a change in 3.1.0 to make a deep copy of diagrams when copying the macro, see DFC-1. If copying a page makes a shallow copy, that's not the intended behaviour. If that's the case, sign up to our JIRA and I'll give you posting permissions to enter a bug.
