I have a group in JIRA called "JUPIN" in JIRA. I want to add this group on confluence global permissions but when i search for it confluences says the group doesnt exist.
How do you manage groups in Confluence and JIRA? Do you manage them locally or with LDAP?
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
In Confluence UserManagement go to user and security click on User directory then add JIRA directory and synchronise JIRA users and groups.
how safe is doing that on the production-staging
on the production-instance
I dont think it will effect your JIRA instance, better do it in your test instance
