HI all,

I am trying to customize our Confluence Dashboard (https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Editing+the+Site+Welcome+Message)  and have it quite customized through editing global layout via the velocity template language.  Very html-like, but  the one area that slows me down right now is that I cannot figure how to add an image to the page.    Can anyone show me to how to do this?

Previous answer from another dashboard question (https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/300576)

This is the solution we use to make it easier on us.

You can create a new space and use the new space as your landing page for all users. This will allow you to be able to configure a lot more within the page then the default dashboard. Upon creating your new space you can elect to NOT use the recently activity list.

Here is how to change you landing page:

(This is just one of many options but allows for a lot of felxability)
