Hi all!
Is anyone is using Confluence to store "meeting minutes"?
I suppose that most people simply start a new page and enter notes as they're talking. but some users asked us about the possibility to add some review and approval process ...
In others words, they're looking for:
* record the meeting notes / minutes in a new page, then the page is in "pending review" status.
* all attendees should review or add a comment to the confluence page.
* after a time period/if all attendees agree, the conf page becomes "reviewed". Confluence must not allow edit this page OR if some edit happens, confluence must display a warning about content changes.
There are mixed concepts about document status, while edited like in a wiki, but the root of the problem is that they aren't comfortable using ECM systems (documentum, alfresco, nuxeo, ...) and they want some ECM-like features in a wiki ...
How do you store and prevent further changes on this type of documents?
Thanks in advance.
Take a look at Adhoc Workflows from Comala Tech. That should give you a good start on workflow.
Further, you should familiarise yourself with the Meeting Notes Blueprint.
Looks good, Im going to try it!
